That being said… not only is my daughter at her best in this shoot, so is this new chunky love knit cardigan! The moment I saw this on ChicWish‘s website, I added it to cart immediately. My favorite thing about it is the pom pom style hearts that cover the entire cardigan.
As you can see, the cardigan is super easy to wear. It’s nice and slouchy, super comfortable and it’s soft, not itchy at all! The moment I received it in the mail I was so happy. I love it when I get something and am always pleasantly surprised as the quality exceeds the price point. This pretty baby (the cardigan, not the actual baby) is under $70!
I love that blogging gives me a great excuse to take Everley out and shoot with her, creating memories for us as a family in the meantime. She is getting such a crazy little personality now and is soooo photogenic (most of the time). Also, her hair is growing and finally has a little bit of substance when I put cute little clips in it now. So it was the perfect opportunity to get outside in this amazing weather we’ve been having and take some mommy-daughter photos together, in this adorable chunky love knit cardigan and her matching look.
Everley began crawling about two months ago or so, and she’s now climbing up furniture and standing on her own (holding on to something). I can’t believe how quickly children learn and grow! Being a mother has easily been one of the most rewarding job descriptions I’ve ever had title to. I can’t wait to watch her grow up even more and start speaking sentences and see what she’ll look like with teeth (Rohan is worried she’ll look funny)! But at the same time I can’t handle that she’s growing so fast already. Can I just press pause on the growth part and keep her this small and portable, and ridiculously cute?!
I am loving matching my outfits to Everley’s, because let’s be real, I match to her, not her to me. Haha. But the secret I’ve found isn’t always finding a complete matching set, simply just keeping in theme with the undertones of the outfits… for instance, like this one, we kept it really neutral with this chunky love knit cardigan, hints of green in my skirt and her pants and bow. It’s a really easy way to create mommy and me outfits without purposefully buying things that way.
Hope that’s a handy little tip for your matching moments! Until next time…
