When in Italy… well, there’s a statement I hadn’t imagined I’d say for a very long time! But low and behold, I found myself in Italy this past week for my sister’s wedding. Any excuse for a European vacation, I say! AND, any excuse to wear an embroidered flower dress…
Right before we left for our Italian adventure, I received a collaboration request from Romwe – a women’s online fashion store and I picked out this adorable little swing dress. I just instantly fell in love with the embroidery on it, showcasing an array of flowers (my fave) and loved the contrast between the black, red and little pops of blue. It’s not often I wear black, but when I do I like to have some form of color in there somewhere so it doesn’t look and feel too dark and heavy against my pale skin.
I was actually pleasantly surprised at the quality of the dress too, the stitching is impeccable and the fit is just so breezy and cute and absolutely perfect for Spring/Summer. Hence, why this pretty little frock made it on my Italy list!
What are some of your favorite dress types to wear in the warmer months? I love anything flowy, light in fabric and that has some form of unique design. I just love the simplicity of Summer fashion. Comfort and style are so much easier to come by!
By the way, how incredibly adorable is the location of these photos? These were taken at the villa we were staying at for my sister’s wedding and, man, oh man, I was so taken with the brick and the flower boxes and pretty much everything that Italy had to offer!
