A cozy knit sweater is probably what I look forward to most when the temperatures start to drop. Since moving to Omaha, we haven’t really known what to expect for Winter this year, so it’s been nice having a milder start to get us used to the Nebraskan seasons. I just love to rug up and snuggle with my husband, baby and/or puppies (in no particular order). There is just something about the cooler temps that gets me excited for it to get to Winter.
When I saw this pretty lilac colored sweater it was like love at first sight. It was loose, slouchy, chunky-knit and everything I’d been looking for to enter Winter wearing. I applaud Romwe and their vast selection of cute and practical knitwear and sweaters. I always find something when I go searching.
But probably my favorite thing about this pretty sweater is that it is an off the shoulder sweater. I love that you can let it bunch up under your neck for a comfortable home outfit, or pull it down to bare your shoulders for an afternoon out, or errand run. It’s simple and versatile and I absolutely love it. I like to pair my sweaters with simple bottoms, like these rip knee jeans, and some pull on ankle boots to really bring out the casual-ness of the look.
What are your thoughts? Do you like big chunky knit sweaters for Fall and Winter. I say, bring it on. Winter can come at me, especially now that I have this knit I’ll be living in most of my home-life. Also, can we just appreciate the amazing color of this beauty?! I mean, lilac, it really doesn’t get much better than that!
