Between Christmas and New Years, Roh, myself and my parents decided to make a spontaneous trip to Lake Placid and make the most of the delayed snow fall over the holidays!
On the list of things to do, was build a snowman and visit the Olympic Village. Although, at times the weather didn’t play nice, we spent a good day soaking up the snow and enjoying the cool weather. We were even pleasantly surprised to find a little place where we could take a dog-sled ride (tick that off the bucket list).
I had been dying to wear my white Aeropostale jacket and my pretty winter snow boots, so this was the perfect opportunity to dress warm while we played in the snow! We were so excited that we finally received some snow fall! We are itching to explore some more hidden treasures while the snow is out too!
We are looking for other good “local” places over the next few months – easy weekend trips – if you have any suggestions, please comment below and let me know (within the NY state area or within driving distance)…
Look forward to hearing some ideas from my lovely readers!
