WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Natalie Ann Hair Care – S1 Powder (or Volumising Root Powder/Mousse)
Natalie Ann Hair Care – S2 Powder
Clear Elastic Bands
Hairspray (recommend a brush-out hairspray like Evo Builders Paradise)
U-Shaped Bobbi Pins
Flowers (Spray Roses + Babiesbreath)
Dust hair roots with Natalie Ann Hair Care – S1 Powder.
Tease roots and brush out to smooth ends. Clip in hair extensions if desired for added length and volume.
Take top section of hair and tie loosely with clear elastic band.
Make a hole in hair above hair tie and flip the ponytail part into the hole and pull through.
Pull on outer ends (sides of the twisted area) to make the look more messy and widen the rolled area.
Take another section of hair from both sides and continue the process.
Keep going, alternating sides for each twisted ponytail to a create a structured, yet staggered, effect.
Don’t worry about things looking a little uneven or messy, that all adds to the desired look.
Continue to pull out the twists of hair so it doesn’t look too neat.
Continue until all hair is done. Then tuck up the little ‘tail’ and pin back so it is not seen.
Add pieces of babiesbreath and spray roses to various places in the braid.
Secure them with bobby pins.
Pull out any extra face-framing pieces you would like.
Finalize your twists and get hair to desired state.
Use hairspray to set.
HAIR STYLIST TIP: Be mindful not to spray directly in contact with flowers, so they last as long as possible.
