I can’t even begin to explain just how much we loved our Italian adventure. Staying in a place called Sansepolcro, Tuscany was the perfect excuse to bathe under the Tuscan sun and this pretty ChicWish button front dress was one I was holding on to until we got there. It is a nice thick, but breathable material complete with faux front buttons and the cutest little self-tie bow straps.
I’m certainly a sucker for anything blush, with bows or any kind of dress that comes in a midi length. It’s modest enough without feeling too old school, but exudes an era of times gone by that I can’t get enough of! I wore this dress around the villa before heading to Siena for a day trip, visiting the old cathedrals and walking the charming streets of Italy.
Of course, when in Tuscany, you have to wear a boater hat, and some form of leather shoe… so my go accessories seemed to be pretty staple throughout our entire trip. Easy faux leather knotted slip-on flats from Just Fab and my straw boater hat in true Italian fashion.
Now, the day I wore this dress it was extremely hot, and I was worried about the dress crinkling or getting sweaty. And neither happened! So I am going to be pulling this out a bit more frequently over the Summer as it holds up well with the weather we experience (Summer in USA, or even layered with a cardigan for Australian Winters).
So if you’re looking for a dress that ticks all the boxes, no matter the season. You’ve just found it! I’ve grown to love ChicWish and the beautiful assortment of dresses they have to offer. Both unique and affordable!
