It’s crazy how sometimes the things unplanned can turn out just as beautiful, if not more so than if we had we stuck to the program! I treasure these photos, as we had no intention of heading to the beach for this shoot, we actually had about 20 minutes of daylight left and we thought we wouldn’t be able to even fit photos in, so we decided to just head to the beach and if it worked with the lighting, we would go for it. So with the camera packed, we took a risk and figured if it was too dark, or wasn’t going to work, we would simply relax and breathe in the fresh salty air. Take a moment and let the stress drift away.
I love moments like this. And I need to remember to not let them pass me by. To take time out of our busy little schedules and rest, recharge and regroup, revel in the Lord’s marvelous work! After all, what better location to do that than sitting on the sand and soaking up the last moments of sunlight!?
So this post, has been a little less about the look, the dress, the shoes (which by the way are the best thing since sliced bread), the accessories, and more so about a little lesson learned that I thought I share with you all…
Don’t forget to savor the simple moments. Find the best in situations that don’t go to plan. Because when we are quiet and still, we can find rest and rejuvenation!
